Okay, so I guess my sense of creativity has resurfaced prematurely this year… But only by a few days!! Last exam tomorrow!
All right. In light of celebration for trying so fucking hard to do well this term (I will keep you updated with the results), I have decided to treat myself to a very very ridiculously expensive gift that I’ll be able to afford with what I’ve brewed up! I have never allowed myself or my family to spend this much money on something that I could do without, so this should be good. Mmmm… the only other two necessities far superior in cost were my laptop and my good old car (may he rest in peace) and they were both well worth the money I spent.
So, I’m seriously contemplating buying a spiffy camera. I know nothing about them though… so I’ll either have to wait for my brother (visits on the 13th?) or ask Jo to ever so kindly help me out! They’re very expensive… just the thought of surrendering that much cash makes me shivah. But I think I will put it to good use, no lie.
I found out about this cool photo technique called Bokeh and realized that without knowing I’ve been trying to deliver the same effect using my digital camera. It worked much better with my other camera, the one that got stolen at a friend’s party… FYI, never EVER invite strangers to your party. I’ve told her before and I’ll say it again, what the hell were you thinking?! (I still love you.)
Anyway, back to getting jiggy with it. So turns out there’s an actual technique and that I hadn’t discovered a window through which you could materialize colours. A legit technique, it seems. Yoda, I sound like. I’ll include some photos I’ve taken thus far in an upcoming entry.

I’ve yet to tell you about my wonderful ram. And our unique first encounter. Deathly, more like it. But there was unconditional love in the end rest assured.
